Much more than a simple jewelry store , Véronique Palenzuela ‘s boutique opens the doors to a world where art and poetry are one, so much so that you would think you were in a real exhibition gallery. At her side, Charlotte, her daughter, welcomes you every day with a smile. At Verpal, everything is handmade , from the chandelier that lights the room to the furniture, including, of course, the jewelry and other adornments that you will find here. Each piece of jewelry she makes is a  work of art and has its own story , like these earrings that remind her of the dripping of honey at breakfast. The designer  draws her inspiration from things in life and nature , so we find a lot of flowers – like her giant poppies which are her trademark – but also insects of all kinds, foliage, cherries… All the jewelry is made of brass, galvanized with 24 carat gold or silver. Price-wise, the creations are intended to be accessible to all: between 30 and 300€ , or more for very large pieces, and custom-made creations to best suit your desires.

It was while strolling along the peaceful rue du Cherche-Midi that a charming window display piqued our curiosity. Makiko Akiyama, a Japanese designer, set up this workshop-boutique in 2016, where you can find rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, as well as custom creations or jewelry transformations. The little extra? This place is a real walk in the woods! In the windows and the boutique, we find wooden logs, moss, plants and dried flowers, which accompany the handmade jewelry in flowers, leaves or berries, with birds, feathers, squirrels, nuggets… Impossible to leave empty-handed!

It’s the surprise of the neighborhood. There we meet Natacha, a young entrepreneur full of creativity. In her shop, she makes everything herself, from the decor to the jewelry . Rings, bracelets, and necklaces in silver, gilded brass, or gold plated, the spirit is resolutely ethnic chic with the addition of semi-precious stones with amazing powers. A mix of refinement and fun that we love. Everything is made on site and custom-made in her showroom boutique.
